Privacy policy

What this website collects, why, and where it goes.

What the contact form collects

When you request a consultation, the form sends your name, your email address, the language you would like sessions in, and anything you choose to write in the message box. It is used only to reply to you and to arrange a first call.

Please keep the message short and leave out anything you would not want in an email. A first message does not need any details about your health or history; those can wait for the consultation call.

Where it goes

The site is built and hosted by WebsiteTherapy, which receives the form on Bekteshi Therapy’s behalf, stores it securely, and emails it to Dr. Venera Bekteshi. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or added to a mailing list.

Booking a consultation

The booking button opens Calendly, a scheduling service, which collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy. Please keep anything you add there brief and leave out health details.

The chat assistant

The chat assistant on this site answers questions about the practice. It is not a therapist and is not for emergencies. Please do not share health details in the chat. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.

What the site never does

  • It does not run advertising trackers or sell any information about visitors.
  • It does not ask for insurance details, diagnoses or payment information.

Therapy records

Anything shared once therapy begins is a clinical record, protected under HIPAA and Illinois law. How those records are kept is explained in the notice of privacy practices given at the start of therapy, not on this website.

Questions or deletion requests

To ask what the site holds about you, or to have a message you sent deleted, write through the contact page.
