FAQ

Questions people ask before the first call.

Who do you work with?

Adults and teens in Illinois experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and life transitions, with particular experience supporting women, immigrants and people living between cultures.

Do you work with teens?

Yes. I work with teens navigating cultural and generational issues, as well as anxiety, depression, trauma and grief. A parent or guardian takes part in the first conversation and gives consent for treatment.

Are sessions online?

Yes. The practice is online only, by secure video, for clients who are in Illinois at the time of each session. There is no in-person office.

What languages do you work in?

English and Albanian.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, most major insurance plans are accepted. Tell me your plan when you reach out, and I will confirm your coverage before your first session.

What does a session cost?

Sessions are $180 for 50 minutes.

What happens in the first session?

We focus on three things: understanding what brought you to therapy, agreeing on what you want help with, and talking through how we will work together.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged the full fee.

Do you offer immigration evaluations?

Not as part of therapy. Immigration evaluations are offered separately through Forward With Dignity (forwardwithdignity.org).

What if I'm in crisis?

Please call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Online sessions are not an emergency service.
